Internet computers at Gore and Mataura libraries are free of charge. The network is APNK - Aotearoa Peoples Network Kaharoa, provided in panership with the National Library of New Zealand.
As well as internet the computers have access to programmes and databases that you would normally have to pay for.
Headsets are available - please ask a librarian.
Usage is 30 minutes per person per day time limit, longer it no one is waiting. Children and teens (under 18) up to maximum one hour per day View terms of usage
Free Wi-Fi is available in the libraries during opening hours and outside the library 24/7.
Enable your wireless and select the library wireless network, secure access password 88888888. At the APNK welcome page accept the terms and conditions to continue.
You can print from the internet computers or your device. Printing charges apply.
Gore Library also has computers specifically for Ancestry.com, Britannica Kids and Tumblebooks for kids.
Search the library catalogue, place reserves and renew your books at gorelibraries.govt.nz
Login is your library card number (use lower case b), default password is l1brary (1 instead of i)
Issue your books with a librarian or at the Gore Library self-issue.
Black and colour copying and printing, scan and email. View fees and charges.
If you want a book or article not held by Gore Libraries we may be able to borrow it from another NZ library; minimum $5 fee.
